GH Phipps Construction Companies
Challenge
Gerald H. Phipps General Contractors, already a highly successful regional firm, was looking to significantly grow its business, while facing stiff regional and national competitors.
Solution
Rebranding focused on leveraging the family values and brand equity built over its 55 years. BrandSavvy modified the name to GH Phipps Construction Companies, because ‘GH Phipps’ was more user-friendly, and ‘Construction Companies’ was broader than ‘General Contractors’.
Additionally, BrandSavvy’s brand positioning recommendation that centered on “genuine progress” brought to the fore the founder’s strong belief system that a handshake was a deal, a customer should also be a friend and that the pride and excellence of their construction should help communities make real progress.
A new design system, graphic standards and website were created.
